Slide around the color wheel to pick a color of your choosing.

Now adjust the intensity of your selected color using the saturation slider in the right.

The two blocks of color tiles on the left display the previously selected color and the currently active color in the color picker. 

Tap on the eyedropper icon in your color wheel to pick an existing color from your canvas.
