By applying more pressure you can create heavier darker strokes or lighter ones with less pressure.
With Apple Pencil’s angle support on the Drawing Desk app you can draw with your stylus straight up or come at it from an angle to adjust the stroke opacity of selected brushes of Water Color, Pen and Pencil.
